A bilingual book, Italian and English, giving my perspective on longing for a fading memory that is not yours. Pages filled with found photo’s in archives of Como and Cernobbio, Italy where my mom’s side of the family is from. It seems like i’ve always been longing for memories of my families cultural background.
Edited with archived photo’s of burning houses which represents the way I see “fading memories”. The text is an analysis of Andrei Tarkovsky’s film ‘Mirror’. The short film is a poem that you see on the cover.
